In a world where time-starved professionals often sacrifice home-cooked meals for convenience, Posha is offering a high-tech solution—an AI-powered countertop cooking robot that prepares fresh meals at the push of a button.

Raghav Gupta, Co-Founder of Posha, shared the inspiration behind the idea in an interview with CNBC-TV18. “We didn’t want to be in a situation where we had to choose between professional aspirations and family meals,” Gupta said.

Posha is now installed in 200 homes across the Valley and serves up more than 500 recipes. The startup has its eyes on India next.

Posha’s AI robot helps families enjoy freshly cooked meals every day without spending hours in the kitchen. All you have to do is choose a recipe on the screen, place freshly chopped ingredients in the back, tap 'Cook,' and sit back while it makes the meal. The robot features an induction cooktop, a removable pan, a stirrer, and three different kinds of spatulas.

The machine includes an exhaust to keep the kitchen clean and odor-free. Ingredients are placed in containers at the back, and a spice counter is provided for easy access. The robot comes preloaded with over 500 recipes, with new ones added daily through content updates.

Users can also request custom recipes through a concierge service. Posha’s in-house chefs create the recipe, train the machine using vision, cameras, and AI, and once trained, the recipe goes live.

Investors in Posha include Sailesh Tulshan, the managing partner at Xeed Ventures, and Binny Bansal, co-founder of Flipkart. Samay Kohli, co-founder of GreyOrange Robotics, and Asha Jadeja Motwani have also backed the company.

Posha is solving the work-family dinner dilemma by making it possible to enjoy home-cooked meals without the time and effort traditionally required.
